During the scheduling, then NFL president, Joseph Carr, had advised the Pottsville franchise that Shibe Park was within the Frankford Yellow Jackets territory rights, and thus the game could not be played there without stiff penalties. Nothing!  It wouldn't mean a whole lot.   Over 100 years now we've played Texas, and have only recently been conference foes.  If Texas were to move to the Sun Belt, we'd still play them every year in Dallas.  Bob Stoops often says that no player is bigger than the program, and no conference is bigger than this rivalry.   The Red River Rivalry has become an entity of it's own.  Of course it'd be a culture shock to what Texas normally does with their non-conference scheduling. This isn't to say that the Big 12 as a whole wouldn't take a hit, because it would.  There's just no way you can take a cash cow like Texas out of any conference and it not have an effect.  Other programs would most definitely feel the impact, especially those in Texas.  There'd be no replacement either.  I mean, sure they'd be replaced, but nobody the Big 12 could bring in would have the same impact Texas does.  The Big 12 really is a 3 headed monster(OU, Texas, Nebraska).  If Texas were to bolt, it would once again be up to Oklahoma and Nebraska to carry the conference.  If I remember correctly before the Big 12, it seemed the Big 8 had more credibility than the old SWC, but I could be wrong.  We also won our share of National Titles and recognition.Bottom line is as big a blow as it may be to the Big 12 as a conference, it wouldn't do much to the Sooner program.  We'd still get great players out of Texas and everywhere else.  We'd still be a Nationally elite program in contention every year.  Our fans will still be loyal to the Crimson and Cream and remain one of the most well traveled fan bases in the college game.  Who's to say that even though we'd still continue to play them every year that we couldn't also potentially end up in "The Big Game" against them someday.  A possibility that could never happen now.  I say if Texas wants to move on, don't let the door hit you in the ass. Boomer Sooner Baby!!. It’s preposterous to me.What do you guys think? Am I being unfair on the assessment of Ellsbury? Where would you draft him?. Fabregas, of course, is Fabregas.A lot will depend upon Arsene Wenger The way he inspires players will count for something.

Indianapolis Colts - Navorro Bowman, LB, Penn State The Colts Cover 2 scheme requires backers who can run, cover, and run some more.  Bowman fits that description perfectly, and he is a fantastic value pick at the end of the first round. After the allotted time, the fans vote for the best dunker; get rid of the judges because they screw up every single time there is a dunk contest. What Welch will need to work on is his speed and route running. For all the babbling about Peyton’s legacy, winning the Super Bowl is clearly the solution to transcending upon a regal reputation. The last thing it didwas get UConn back in the "bubble" conversation.Thisis where WVU comes in.UConn is now squarely on thebubble for the NCAA tournament. With so many stars on the ice at once and so much hype surroundingthis event, the battle for gold in the 2010 men?s ice hockey tournament is thetalk of the games.  But, the meeting Amaro had with Lee's agent was apparently discouraging enough to pull the trigger for the better pitcher. But is Halladay truly better than Lee?  Well, he is by the numbers.

And what about the Arsenal of a few seasons ago? Arsenal teams of old could dish it out, physically, as well as anyone. During the drive, anticipating the upset, Wildcat students began jumping out of the stands and lining the sidelines (Amazingly, they even continued to do this after the Ducks had the ball in the red zone). You absolutely have to stay in the stands until the final buzzer, because there is nothing that looks more foolish than being on the field while your team is losing (Well, maybe if you are the owner of an NFL team, Tom Benson, and your are hugging and celebrating in your box when in fact your kicker, Garrett Hartley, has missed the game-winning kick).______________________________________________________________________Rushing the court is fun I hope that many fans get the same opportunity that I did. If LeBron James wasn't a Cleveland Cavalier, this would bother people a lot more. Look for the Russians to edge this group on the strength of their home form and for the Irish to nap the second spot.X-factor?Robbie Keane: The Spurs captain has struggled this season and is currently on loan at Celtic.
